Hi, I’m jakub

At the start of 2024, I decided I was done working for someone else. I’ve always dreamed of having my own business and travelling the world.

I wanted the freedom to choose where I am, when I’m there, and who I’m with!

A bit of a rebel, right? Haha!

Anyway, back in 2020, I launched my first online business—an e-commerce shop selling t-shirts I designed.

It wasn’t the most successful venture, but it was the start of something bigger, and that’s when I first dove into social media marketing.

I handled content creation, marketing, and copywriting—and even got my business featured in British GQ (for anyone outside the UK, that’s a magazine for gentlemen).

Fast forward to early 2024, my girlfriend and I were done with the 9-to-5 grind.

So, in February, we kicked off CONNECT Creative, our social media marketing company.

At first, we just wanted something profitable. But then we thought, why not live our dream and start travelling?

In September 2024, we left our full-time jobs behind and started our journey across Southeast Asia. And let me tell you—we’ve never looked back.

Travelling and working has taught us so much and created countless unforgettable memories.

Later, my partner Lauren branched out to launch her own venture as a Virtual Assistant.

I’m deeply passionate about technology and innovation, often imagining the future shaped by AI, Social Media & Fintech. My goal is to be part of this transformation, riding the wave of social media marketing to make an impact!
